In 2016, Thompson returned to their alma mater after a successful startup exit to spearhead a $20 million Athletic Fundraising Campaign focused on enhancing facilities and upgrading to FCS status.

As an accomplished author, Thompson penned the best-selling book 'Land A Dream Job If Dad Doesn't Own The Team' and released a second edition titled 'Sports Dream Job Playbook' in 2018.

A versatile entrepreneur, Thompson is the visionary behind GamePlanU and MyConnexSports.com, platforms that unite sports and media industry leaders with SportsTech innovators, founders, and investors.
