Thomaz Koch is a renowned Brazilian tennis coach with over 40 years of experience in the field. He is also a former tennis player who represented Brazil in the Davis Cup and the Pan American Games. Koch's illustrious career as a coach includes nurturing some of the world's top players such as Steffi Graf, Gabriela Sabatini, and Maria Sharapova.

Koch started his coaching career in Brazil and then moved to Germany, where he coached Graf and Sabatini to Grand Slam titles. He also coached Sharapova to her first major title at Wimbledon in 2004. Koch has been recognized for his contributions to the sport and has been inducted into the International Tennis Hall of Fame.
