Thomas Schoutens is a well-established business executive with over 25 years of experience in Central & Eastern Europe. He holds a Master's degree in Business Administration and is also a Commercial Engineer. He has an extensive finance background and has worked with major international companies such as CFE, BESIX, Atrium European Real Estate, Wilhelm & Co Belgique, and Carrefour Group. Schoutens has proficient communication skills and is fluent in multiple languages such as Dutch, French, English, Polish, Russia, Spanish, and Czech.

Schoutens has over 20 years of experience in developing & constructing retail properties across CEE, with approximately 1,000,000 sqm GLA developed and completed. He was a former Chief Development Officer/Memeber of Management Board at Atrium European Real Estate where he oversaw major real estate development projects in CEE. He also served as the Real Estate & Expansion Director at Property Division-Carrefour Group real-estate expertise, responsible for the company's real estate portfolio worth 1-1.2 billion EUR. Additionally, Schoutens led the expansion & organic growth initiative that resulted in 60 new openings of hypermarkets & supermarkets.

At Carrefour Polska, Schoutens served as the Investments, Real Estate, Expansion & Assets Director, responsible for M&A, acquisition & integration of 200 stores from AHOLD & LECLERC. He also managed Asset Management, Equipment Purchase, and Leasing activities. Also, as the Director Real Estate & Expansion at Carrefour Russia, Schoutens conducted an extended market study in 75 cities with a population above 200,000, negotiated with over 200 real estate developers, and identified 500 shopping center projects.
