Thomas J. Ronacher is a seasoned professional in the field of autonomous metal additive manufacturing, dedicated to accelerating the creation of a better world through innovation and speed.
He pursued his educational endeavors at the University of California, Berkeley, where he completed his Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, followed by a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Fluid Mechanics at the University of California, Los Angeles.
Throughout his career, Thomas has held key leadership roles in various noteworthy organizations, showcasing his expertise and experience in the industry.
He co-founded Freeform and served as its President, demonstrating his entrepreneurial spirit and strategic vision. Prior to this, he was the CTO and Co-Founder at Freeform, where he played a pivotal role in shaping the company's direction and technological advancements.
Thomas Ronacher was also an integral part of the Hyperloop One team, where he contributed significantly as the VP of Hardware Engineering and as the Director of System Engineering in the UAE. His expertise extended to overseeing hyperstructures at Hyperloop One, highlighting his diverse skill set and adaptability.
Before his tenure at Hyperloop One, Thomas served as the Thermal System Lead for LauncherOne at Virgin Galactic, where he contributed his technical prowess to the aerospace industry.
His earlier professional experiences include positions at prominent organizations such as Seal Science, Inc., where he served as the Principal Design Engineer, and SpaceX, where he held roles as a Senior Propulsion Analyst and later as a Propulsion Analyst & TPS Engineer, reflecting his multifaceted background and dedication to technological innovation.
