Thomas Hagen

Thomas Hagen is an experienced professional with expertise in ship maintenance availability management, specification writing, and ship repair and alteration. He possesses an active U.S. government SECRET security clearance and is well-versed in the use of Navy Maintenance Database for specification writing. Thomas has worked for the US Navy as a Senior Enlisted Supervisor and Manager, First Line Supervisor and Task Leader, and Line Supervisor and Technician, where he was responsible for overseeing ship's maintenance availabilities, developing written specifications and Requests for Contract Change, and leading teams of up to 16 individuals. He has been an industry representative for the 4E/Phraseology committee during the NAVSEA Specification for Ship Repair and Alteration Committee conference, and has extensive knowledge of the JFMM-Volume VII-Appendix 4E, NAVSEA Standard Items, and Master Specification Catalog. Thomas is a graduate of Southern New Hampshire University with a Bachelor of Science in Operations Project Management, and has also received specialized training in personnel management and industrial safety from the US Navy. He is an Area Coordinator at Special Olympics and an active member of the Surface Team One Execution Knowledge Sharing Network. Thomas is a skilled problem solver with an attention to detail, capable of prioritizing effectively and meeting deadlines.
