Tom Eaton is the Senior Vice President of Music for Advertising at Universal Music Publishing Group (UMPG), a position he has held since May 1998. With over 26 years of experience at UMPG, Eaton plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between songwriters, advertising agencies, and the publishing group to facilitate the placement of music in advertising campaigns. His extensive work includes securing placements for major brands such as Apple, Google, Ford, and KFC among others.123
Eaton is also instrumental in developing UMPG’s online searchable music database, UMPG SONGS, which allows music supervisors to search for and license songs effectively. He holds a Bachelor's degree from the University of Pennsylvania, where he studied from 1988 to 1992.14
