Thomas E. Nelson

Thomas E. Nelson is an experienced entrepreneur and educator dedicated to sharing his knowledge with others. With a Ph.D. in Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies from the University of Louisville and degrees from Ball State University's Miller College of Business, he is well-versed in entrepreneurship, strategy, and management. With almost ten years of experience as Director of the Undergraduate Entrepreneurship Program at the University of Cincinnati, Nelson has developed a passion for helping aspiring entrepreneurs start their own businesses. At the University of South Alabama, he continues his work as Director of Student Competition and helps students and non-students alike start businesses in the classroom and through his work with the Melton Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation. Through his experience, Nelson promotes the power of entrepreneurship to make the world a better place, and teaches that the boundaries of scarcity are pushed back by entrepreneurs engaging in the positive sum game of business.
