Thomas Duval

Thomas Duval is the CEO and co-founder of Sancare, a French company that develops technological solutions for healthcare.23 He founded Sancare in 2016 and the company is based in Orsay, France.4 Sancare focuses on using artificial intelligence and machine learning to automate and enhance the coding of hospital stays, predicting diagnoses from digital patient records.4

Prior to founding Sancare, Thomas Duval had experience working at Honestica and McKinsey & Company.3 He received his education from Université Paris Dauphine.1

Sancare has raised approximately €1.8 million in seed funding, with investors including Elaia Partners, Davidson Group, and business angels such as Franck Le Ouay and Romain Niccoli.42 The company's enterprise valuation was estimated to be between $8-12 million as of August 2019.2

Under Thomas Duval's leadership, Sancare has developed a software platform that aims to optimize hospital billing using Natural Language Processing (NLP) technology.
