His extensive experience includes working on projects such as 7SE, ZOEnergy, and Arcadis' internal sustainability policy, where he focused on creating and managing programs with a significant impact.

Thomas De Groot's educational background includes a Master of Innovation Sciences in Energy Science from Utrecht University and a Bachelor of Science in Human Geography and Planning from Universiteit Utrecht.

He has also been involved in training programs such as Global Shapers, Imagineers, and expedition DNA during his time as an alumnus at Arcadis.

Thomas has held various roles in different organizations, including Consultant Energy & Sustainability, Program Manager Sales & Business Development, and Strategy Analyst Circular Economy at Arcadis, as well as the position of Chairman at Study Association NRG.
