Thomas Colarusso is the Chief Executive Officer, President, and Co-Founder of BioAI Health, a leading biotechnology company employing multimodal AI technology to develop digital biomarkers and identify novel drug targets for precision medicine.125

He co-founded BioAI in January 2020 with friends and colleagues who shared a common vision to tackle major challenges in healthcare and pharma clinical research using new AI technology.1 The company aims to develop better, more effective drugs and analyze patient data from clinical trials.1

Colarusso has over 20 years of experience as a veteran business executive with a proven track record in developing life sciences and diagnostics businesses.6 He previously worked as a VP of Pharma Business Development at HalioDx and held executive roles at Definiens, where he led the charge in developing and closing some of the largest deals in the company's history.47

Under Colarusso's leadership, BioAI has made significant progress in building a panel of new AI digital biomarkers and aims to deploy its first tests in a clinical lab setting by late 2024/early 2025.1 The company recently announced a strategic collaboration with Genomic Testing Cooperative to develop innovative solutions for pharmaceutical companies and clinicians.3
