Thomas Brattle Gannett "Toby"

Thomas Brattle Gannett, also known as Toby, is an accomplished executive and board leader who has served on corporate, private, family, and nonprofit boards for over five decades. He has held various positions, including chairman, vice-chairman, secretary, interim-treasurer, CEO, and interim CEO. His extensive experience in strategic, operational, and fiscal leadership has earned him more than 30 local, state, and national awards. Toby is skilled in producing strategic outlook and scenario analysis, which has resulted in more significant efficiencies and major breakthroughs. His expertise is unique due to his ability to work at the nexus of governance, disruption, innovation, and strategic planning. Toby has a robust educational background and has studied at prestigious institutions such as the Stanford University Graduate School of Business, Carnegie Mellon University, and MIT Sloan School of Management.

Toby is a Board Leadership Fellow and has extensively studied the CERT SEI Cyber-Risk Board Oversight Program at the National Association of Corporate Directors. Additionally, he is a First Movers Fellow at The Aspen Institute and a Global Practice Chair, Board and CEO Services at N2Growth.

As Principal at GANNETT HOLDINGS, Toby has led a portfolio of companies with a 25+ year track record of performance in large-scale transformation projects. Toby was also the Interim President and CEO at Colorado Springs Chamber of Commerce & EDC and President and CEO at BCR Management. He has also held positions such as Principal-Vice President at Dunn and Associates Inc., Department Head of History at The Colorado Springs School, and Intern at U.S. House of Representatives.
