Thomas Anderson

Thomas R. Anderson is a Partner at VLP Law Group LLP, where he specializes in corporate and business law for emerging growth companies, venture capitalists, and angel investors, particularly in the technology, life sciences, and clean tech sectors. His expertise encompasses general business law counseling, equity and debt financings, mergers and acquisitions, and the modeling of complex capital structures and financing scenarios.13

• J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center, graduated cum laude and served as Editor in Chief of the Georgetown Journal of Law and Public Policy.

Before his legal career, Thomas served as a logistics officer in the U.S. Army, attaining the rank of Colonel and commanding a battalion of the 82nd Airborne Division in Afghanistan, for which he earned two Bronze Star Medals.12

Outside of his professional life, Thomas enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking and camping, as well as landscape photography. He shares these interests with his wife, who is also a veteran and notable for being the first female Airborne dentist in the 82nd Airborne Division.1
