Thinzar S. Htwe

Thinzar S. Htwe is a highly accomplished professional with a diverse educational background and extensive experience in various healthcare and research roles.

Thinzar holds a Bachelor of Science in Science, Technology, and Society (STS) from Stanford University, where she also co-founded the Stanford Medical Student Research and Review organization.

She furthered her education by studying Medical Anthropology at the University of Oxford and Academy of Health Professions Allied Health at Eastern Technical High School.

Thinzar has an impressive track record in the medical field, having served as a Trauma Surgery Researcher at Stanford University School of Medicine and as an Anesthesia Technician at the University of Maryland St. Joseph Medical Center.

Her passion for philanthropy and community service is evident from her role as the Founder of Aid for Burma and as The Pad Project Ambassador at The Pad Project.

Thinzar has also contributed significantly to research in various institutions, working as a Pediatric Ophthalmology Researcher at Stanford University School of Medicine, a Cell and Molecular Biology Research Intern at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, and a Stanford Cardiovascular Institute Research Intern at Stanford Cardiovascular Institute.
