Thien Van Tran

Thien Van Tran is an accomplished professional with a diverse background in finance, investment banking, mechanical engineering, and research. He holds an M.B.A. in Finance and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Miami. Currently, Mr. Tran serves as the Vice President at Ascend Capital Group. Previously, he held the position of Vice President in Investment Banking at Evergreen Advisors, where he also started as an Investment Banking Analyst. Prior to that, he gained experience as a Management Associate at Regions Bank and as an Investment Banking Intern at Cassel Salpeter & Co. His engineering expertise was honed during his time as a Mechanical Engineer at SPAWAR and as an Engineering Intern at the U.S. Department of Transportation. Additionally, he has experience as a Research Assistant at the Integrated Nano/Bio-Technology Lab at the University of Miami.
