Theresa Real is a highly experienced Biostatistician with over 25 years of expertise in applying statistical methods using various software packages such as SAS, SAS Enterprise Guide, SAS Enterprise Miner, SAS STAT, and SQL. She has a strong background in the pharmaceutical industry, having worked on US and international veterinary clinical trials focusing on efficacy, vaccines, safety, and post-marketing studies. Theresa is skilled in designing statistical analysis plans, conducting power analyses, quality checking data, analyzing study data, writing statistical reports, and presenting results to study teams and regulatory agencies. She possesses extensive knowledge in statistical methods like General Linear Mixed Models, Multivariate Analysis, Linear Regression, Factor Analysis, Logistic Regression, Categorical Data Analysis, Loglinear Models, Survival Data Analysis, and Longitudinal Data Analysis. Her experience spans across pharmacological research, vaccine research, psychology, medical research, survival data analysis, and business applications, collaborating with diverse teams and leading others. Theresa has also worked with the CDC and FDA during critical events like the H1N1 outbreak and Phase IV of the H1N1 vaccine. She holds a BS in Mathematics/Spanish from St. Mary's Dominican College, a PhD in Biostatistics with a minor in Genetics from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center, and an MS in Applied Mathematics/Statistics from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
