Theresa Garza is an accomplished public servant and community leader currently serving as Alderwoman for Ward 4 in Raytown, Missouri. She was elected to this position in April 2023 and her term is set to expire in 2027.64
Garza has a diverse background in government and community service. She holds a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree and is a Certified Economic Developer (CEcD).2 Her professional experience includes:

- Leader in education, nonprofit, and social entrepreneurship sectors
Garza is known for taking on significant community initiatives and achieving positive results.2 She recently completed the Greater Missouri Leadership Challenge, a year-long statewide program for women leaders addressing critical issues facing the state.1
In January 2025, Garza announced her candidacy for CEO & Mayor of Wyandotte County Kansas City, Kansas, demonstrating her continued commitment to public service and leadership.3
