Mentor Resident Assistant, Hamilton West Hall

Asked back from the performance of the previous summer, I was responsible for deploying upwards of 300 Windows 7 machines with specific security lockdowns for the fab.  In addition to the same responsibilities of last summer, I helped to develop the image and maintaining the alpha and beta testing.  I helped develop a plan for long term maintenance issues with the fab images.

Culminating to a full research grant, I work as a researcher under Dr. Boyana Norris studying Natural Language Processing with large document sets.  We are currently developing robust software to give the sentiment and qualify previously funded research from major institutions like NSF in parallel. I have been published with the lab as a first author in the Oregon Undergraduate Research Journal for the January edition.  The OURJ has an acceptance rate of 47%. The group presented a poster at the 2016 Undergraduate Research Symposium.
