Theo Duchen

Theo Duchen is the co-founder and Group co-CEO of Acturis Limited, a leading software provider in the UK general insurance market. He has been instrumental in shaping the company since its inception in 2000, driven by a vision to modernize and streamline the insurance industry through technology. Prior to his role at Acturis, Duchen was a partner at McKinsey & Company, where he joined in 1991 and became a partner in 1997. During his tenure at McKinsey, he led the UK general insurance practice and was part of the European insurance leadership group, gaining extensive experience in the sector.12

Duchen is recognized for his insights into eTrading and complex insurance products, advocating for iterative development processes to enhance trading efficiency.
