Thais Fontenelle

Thais Fontenelle is an inventory founder and design curator based in Miami since 1994.

With a rich background, she managed Luminaire Lab and worked as a head designer at Alison Spear AIA for six years.

Thais contributed to various commercial and residential projects in Miami, including iconic buildings like the Holly Hunt showroom, The Spear Building, and more.

Her passion for objects and design led her to Luminaire in Miami's Design District, where she served as the contract division manager.

Thais Fontenelle's involvement in Luminaire Lab included hosting lectures, events, and notable exhibits like Design Miami with the Design 05 bookstore.

As a project director for Ironside, she played a pivotal role in renovating warehouse space into a sustainable campus, now home to designers, architects, and artists.

Fluent in five languages, Thais's early exposure to art began in Central and South America, studying fine arts in Rio de Janeiro and Nicaragua.

Her work has been showcased in exhibitions in Brazil and a solo show at the National School of Fine Arts in Managua, supported by the Brazilian Embassy.

Thais Fontenelle's worldly experiences include extensive travels in Europe, residency in Spain and Italy, before settling in the United States.
