Dr. Tess Washington, MD, MS, FAAFP, is a highly experienced and sought-after Board-Certified Physician & Surgeon with over 20 years of diverse patient-care experience. Her extensive knowledge and skills have made her one of the top locums hospitalists on both coasts, practicing in six different states.

Dr. Washington completed her medical education at the University of Illinois at Chicago, earning both an MD degree and a Master's Degree in Physiology and Biophysics. She then pursued further training, starting as a Preliminary General Surgery Resident at Rush University Medical Center and advancing to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center as a Categorical General Surgery Resident. During her residency, Dr. Washington also served as a Flight Surgeon in the California Air National Guard Reserve, providing care to American troops and their families.

Recognizing the importance of primary care, Dr. Washington made the transition from General Surgery to Family Medicine. She completed her residency training at White Memorial Medical Center and became a Board-Certified Diplomate. From 2015 to 2020, she established a successful private practice in Beverly Hills, CA, specializing in cosmetic procedures such as Aesthetics/Injectables, Hormone Management, Physician-Guided Weightloss programs, and Sexual Dysfunction.

Dr. Washington's commitment to staying at the forefront of medical advancements led her to pursue several fellowships and certifications. She is Fellowship-trained in Age Management Medicine, Functional Medicine & Obesity Medicine. Additionally, she holds certifications in Advanced Aesthetic Procedures, Hair Loss Therapy, Platelet Rich Plasma Therapy, Medical Weight Loss Management, and Male/Female Sexual Dysfunction.

As an active member of various professional organizations such as The Society of Critical Care Medicine, The Institute of Functional Medicine, and The National Association of Sports Medicine, Dr. Washington continuously enriches her medical knowledge and skills.
