Tess Vigeland is a veteran journalist with over 25 years of experience in radio broadcasting, reporting, and producing. She is widely recognized for her warm and authoritative voice, and her ability to distill complex information quickly and easily. Tess began her career as a journalist after studying Bachelor of Science in Journalism at Northwestern University. She has hosted shows such as Marketplace, All Things Considered, and programs at NPR member stations. Tess is also a contributing writer at The New York Times, The Guardian, and Quartz. In 2018, she returned to the United States after spending three years traveling, reporting, and writing throughout Asia and the Middle East. Tess is currently a podcast-host-for-hire, anchoring content for Google, Bank of America (through Gimlet Media), and the University of Chicago, among others. She is also an experienced reporter, editor, and producer, and a national award-winning show creator.
