Terry Tan, MBA

Terry Tan, MBA, brings with him a wealth of diverse business experience spanning 17 years in the education, technology, and investment sectors.

With a focus on venture capital, private equity, fund raising, risk and compliance, board level advisory, and exit strategies, Terry has honed his expertise in various facets of the business world.

His educational background includes an MBA in Finance from Nanyang Technological University Singapore, business administration studies at Peking University, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the National University of Singapore.

Terry has held prominent roles in a range of organizations, serving as a Co-Founder at Academic Labs, Independent Director at Sevens Atelier Limited, and investor in notable companies like Mintify, Skills Union, UKISS Technology, and more.

Additionally, he has lent his expertise as an Independent Director at China Environment Ltd, and as an Executive Director at Hopeshine Ventures. Terry's career also includes roles as an Adjunct Lecturer at various universities and stints at respected financial institutions such as Citi and Platinum Securities.

Currently, Terry holds positions on the board of two SGX listed companies as a non-executive independent director, further solidifying his standing in the corporate world.
