Terry Sydoryk is a seasoned entrepreneur and business executive based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. He holds an MBA from the University of Alberta and a Graduate Certificate in Executive Coaching from Royal Roads University. His career spans over 25 years in senior management roles within the technology sector, with a strong focus on company creation and growth.
Currently, he serves as the CEO of Cellar Insights, a company that provides smart remote monitoring solutions for potato growers, helping them optimize their crop storage and marketable yield. Prior to this role, Sydoryk was the CEO of Chaordix, which was acquired by Benevity in 2021. He has also held significant positions at various tech companies, including co-founding AudeSi Technologies and serving as COO at Plazmic Inc., which was acquired by Research In Motion (BlackBerry) in 2002.1
In addition to his executive roles, Sydoryk has been actively involved in the Calgary technology community as an advisor, board member, and angel investor. He was a founding member of the A100, an organization supporting technology entrepreneurs in Alberta. Notably, he served as an Entrepreneur In Residence at Fasken from October 2021 to March 2023, where he contributed to the firm's Emerging Technology practice.12
Sydoryk's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Alberta. His diverse interests include sailing, motorcycle touring, coaching competitive hockey, and small-batch coffee roasting.1
