Terry Schaefer is an accomplished Program Manager with a rich background in international research collaboration and policy analysis.
With a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Oceanography and Coastal Sciences from Louisiana State University, Terry possesses a strong skill set in sustainability, government, and policy.
Having studied Biology/Coastal Zone Studies for a Master of Science (M.S.) at the University of West Florida, Wildlife Management for a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) at Humboldt State University, and Fish and Wildlife for an Associate of Arts (A.A.) at Fullerton College, Terry's academic journey is extensive and diverse.
Professionally, Terry has held significant roles at various esteemed organizations including NOAA as a Program Analyst, the National Academy of Sciences as a Program Officer, and the US EPA as a Biologist.
Prior to these roles, Terry also contributed to the National Park Service as a National Park Ranger, the US Army Corps of Engineers as a Park Technician, the US Fish and Wildlife Service as a Biological Technician, and the US Forest Service as a Forestry Technician.
