Terry Brown is an experienced Higher Education professional with a focus on student support services and program development. With a passion for promoting strategies that improve retention, persistence, and graduation rates, she is a student-centered advocate who utilizes a holistic approach to impact student development. Her extensive knowledge of underrepresented and underserved populations enables her to be a role model and mentor who champions innovation and implements proactive strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners.
Brown holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Criminal Justice from Temple University, and has studied MPH Public Health at the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia. Throughout her career, She has held various coordinator and specialist positions at Cheyney University, including College Success Specialist, Coordinator of Wolf Engagement, and Coordinator of Student Engagement-Learning Communities. She also served as the Associate Director of Student Health and Wellness Programs at Cheyney University of Pa.
