    Teri Dillion was a psychotherapist, addiction counselor, meditation instructor, and writer.24 She earned an MA in Contemplative Psychotherapy from Naropa University in 2008.246 Dillion worked as a Clinical Support Professional at Naropa University for 14 years, beginning in 2011.5 She was also a Faculty member at Naropa University.5 Dillion was a Licensed Professional Counselor, a Licensed Addiction Counselor, and a Certified Group Psychotherapist who specialized in working with groups and individuals.7 In 2016, she was diagnosed with ALS.2 Dillion passed away in late 2021, about a year after publishing her memoir, No Pressure, No Diamonds: Mining for Gifts in Illness and Loss.2 In her memoir, she recounted her journey with ALS and shed light on the blessings of embodiment.3 She explored whether the jewels of healing and meaning could be found not in recovery, but in what we carve for ourselves out of life's roughest blows.13
