Mr. Terence Sim joined Vickers in 2009 and is based in Singapore. He works closely with the investment committee and he is focused on advising current portfolio companies on their business strategies, helping the companies drive subsequent funding rounds and seek potential exit opportunities. Mr. Sim is also focused on sourcing potential deals for Vickers, making investment recommendation to the investment committee and conducting due diligence for potential investments. Mr. Sim is also responsible for monitoring the stock markets in the region and managing the sale of the shares of the portfolio companies upon their IPO listing and the treasury positions of the Group, using his experience and knowledge from his time as an analyst in a hedge fund. Prior to joining Vickers, Mr. Sim worked in the Singapore Department of Statistics in 2009 where he conducted in-depth statistical analysis for the Ministry of Trade and Industry, Economic Development Board, IE Singapore and SPRING Singapore. From 2006 to 2007, he was an Assistant Director of Research in the Singapore Management University E.y.E Investment Club, an organization that promotes financial literacy through the sharing of financial knowledge and research of new stock ideas between tertiary students in Singapore and investment professionals.Mr. Sim graduated from the Singapore Management University magna cum laude with degrees in Business Management (majoring in Finance) and Economics. He is fluent in English and Mandarin.
