He pursued his education at Milagres High School for his foundational studies, followed by a Master's in Electrical Engineering (focused on Photovoltaics) from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communication from St Joseph Engineering College, Mangaluru.

Terence Goveas has valuable experience from his tenure as a Photovoltaic Engineer at ecojiva, LLC, Research Assistant in Microelectronics Clean Room at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, and Software Engineer in the Media & Entertainment Division at Tech Mahindra (previously Satyam Computer Services Ltd).
