Inspired by renowned researchers like Pascal Hitzler, Markos, and Dean Allemang, Temitayo delved into the world of the semantic web during their undergraduate studies.
Fascinated by the vision of the Semantic Web laid out by pioneers like Sir Tim Breener-Lee, Jim Hendler, and Orai Lassila, Temitayo aspires to contribute towards realizing this vision.
Through their thesis work on Algorithms for matching top-level ontologies supervised by Dr. B.O Akinkunmi, Temitayo explored the heterogeneity between ontologies like BFO and Gene Ontology, focusing on identifying correspondences between concepts and connections.
Temitayo has a diverse skill set in software development, proficient in HTML, CSS, Javascript, and Django framework, with expertise in CSS libraries such as Material Design and Bootstrap.
Currently, Temitayo is utilizing PROLOG, a logic programming language, to convert databases into knowledge bases in alignment with their goal of advancing the Semantic Web vision.
Temitayo's educational background includes studies in Computer Science at the University of Ibadan, Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Obafemi Awolowo University, and various certifications in Physical Sciences.
Having worked at organizations like Squirrellabs, Biscordint Travel Agency & Tours, Linux Professional Institute, and APMIS in roles ranging from Ontologist to Junior Software Engineer, Temitayo brings a wealth of experience to the table.
Temitayo's interests lie in Ontologies, Semantic Web, Description Logic, Knowledge Representation, and Reasoning, showcasing a deep-seated dedication to advancing technology and knowledge management.
