Meet Temi Ransome-Kuti, a dynamic and accomplished professional with extensive experience building and investing in startups focused on sustainable and scalable solutions in African markets. With an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BS in Economics from The Wharton School, Temi has honed her skills in developing strategies for executives and has demonstrated a unique ability to identify emerging trends and capitalize on new opportunities.
Temi's journey to becoming a Venture Associate at Republic began with teaching English at Mary Immaculate Convent School. She then served as an Associate Consultant at Bain & Company, where she advised clients on strategic initiatives and organizational effectiveness. She later moved into venture capital, working as an Investment and Portfolio Engagement Analyst at Accion and an Investment Associate at Oui Capital. She was a Venture Capital Fellow at Pariti, where she helped identify and source investment opportunities in African markets.
Temi's passion for investing in startups led her to participate in the Breaking into Venture Fellowship at BLCK VC, where she worked to increase diversity in the tech industry. Throughout her career, Temi has demonstrated a commitment to driving change and empowering entrepreneurs in underrepresented communities.
