Tembwe Mutungu is a skilled and experienced CEO, strategist, and financial professional. With a passion for African industrialization, Mr. Mutungu excels in identifying and executing on opportunities for business stabilization and growth in diverse industries including aquaculture, agro-processing, construction, and logistics. After studying Industrial Engineering at the University of the Witwatersrand and completing an MBA in Finance at the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School, he worked in a variety of strategic leadership and financial roles at prestigious organizations such as McKinsey & Company, Oakfield Holdings, and Aller Aqua before becoming Co-CEO of FirstWave Group. His approach is to quickly understand issues and identify opportunities for swift operational wins, hire change agents when appropriate, and address any balance sheet and compliance issues that could threaten business sustainability.
