Tek Chia

Tek Chia, also known as Chia Tek Yew, is the Chairman of the Sustainability Committee at the Singapore FinTech Association (SFA). He has over 30 years of consulting experience in financial services and is recognized as a subject matter expert, particularly in areas involving central banks and regulators across Asia and the Middle East.2

In addition to his role at SFA, he serves as an Adjunct Professor and advisor at the National University of Singapore's Asian Institute of Digital Finance, which is a partnership between the university and the Monetary Authority of Singapore. His previous positions include Vice Chairman at Oliver Wyman Singapore and senior roles at KPMG, Hewlett Packard Consulting & Integration, and PwC Consulting East Asia.23

Chia is actively involved in initiatives aimed at promoting sustainable practices within the fintech industry, reflecting a broader commitment to integrating sustainability into financial services.14 His expertise and leadership in these areas are pivotal for advancing green finance solutions in Singapore and beyond.
