    Tejas Kashyap is an experienced professional with a background in Indigenous business expertise and investment in the Canadian Arctic. He has in-depth knowledge of the challenges faced by Canadian businesses and entrepreneurs. Currently, at Tlicho Investment Corporation (TIC), Tejas focuses on investment processes in mining, construction, engineering, and supply chain sectors, while also spearheading the organization's expansion into new ventures centered around low-carbon technologies and related infrastructure such as renewable energy and energy efficiency.

    Early in his career, Tejas worked as an analyst at Emerald Technology Ventures in Toronto, specializing in technologies and companies related to advanced materials, water technologies, and smart grids. Notably, during his time there, a portfolio company of Emerald, RuggedCom, was successfully acquired by Siemens for $382 million. He further enriched his experience by serving as a Specialist for Mineral Investments with the Government of the Northwest Territories, where his efforts played a significant role in attracting investments that led to the establishment of Gahcho Kué mine, the world's largest and newest diamond mine with capital costs amounting to $970 million.

    In addition to his corporate roles, Tejas actively contributes to the business community as a member of the Board of Directors for the American Chamber of Commerce - Canada West. His educational background is equally impressive, holding a Master of Business Administration from Vancouver Island University, a Master's degree in International Business from the University of Hertfordshire in the UK, and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Visvesvaraya Technological University in India.
