Teik Tan

Teik Guan Tan is a cybersecurity expert and entrepreneur with extensive experience in the technology and security sectors. He completed his PhD in Cybersecurity at Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD) from 2019 to 2022.1 Currently, he is the co-Founder and CEO of pQCee, a position he has held since August 2022.1

During his PhD, Tan published several papers on topics such as post-quantum digital signing, quantum-resistant classical digital signature algorithms, and blockchain leader election.1 His research has contributed to the field of cybersecurity, particularly in areas related to quantum computing threats and blockchain technology.

Tan continues to be active in the cybersecurity and innovation space, as evidenced by his recent participation in a panel discussion on "Navigating Quantum Computing's influence on IT and Data Assets in Financial Services," organized by SGInnovate in July 2024.2
