Teemu Polo, an experienced entrepreneur, ecosystem developer, and consultant, has joined the Federation of Finnish Technology Industries as the Head of Entrepreneurship as of August 2020. Polo has an extensive background in working with startups, growth companies, and regional startup ecosystems since 2004. He has served as a corporate business developer at Nokia, founded Soljuva Technologies, and worked as a consultant at Brightsign. Additionally, he has been a part of several organizations such as NewCo Helsinki, Starttaamo Ry, and Mobile Monday Oulu. Polo has also worked with startups and evaluated proposals for the European Commission and Cyprus Research and Innovation Foundation. He has a Master's degree in Business Administration from the University of Oulu and has completed several executive education programs.
