Teddy Alvaro is an experienced educator with a strong background in education management, focusing on enhancing student outcomes and character growth.

As a Dean of Curriculum and Instruction, Teddy led instructional decisions and coached the ELA department to improve reading and writing skills using college-level texts.

Alongside education, Teddy is a skilled theater professional with expertise in Classical Text, Improvisation, Performing Arts, Stage Combat, and Drama.

Teddy Alvaro holds a Master's degree in Education from Relay Graduate School of Education and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Drama and Dramatics/Theatre Arts from New York University.

With a history of involvement in various organizations, Teddy has served as a Program Director at Black Girls CODE, Dean of curriculum and instruction at Uncommon Schools, Assistant Principal at Democracy Prep Public Schools, and in various teaching roles in organizations like Hudson valley Shakespeare Festival and Opening Act New York.
