Best Buy Simplicity: January 2012 - March 2013
 - Acted as business unit finance support for "Simplicity," a new business within Best Buy that operates as a high-end leasing platform for customers. Responsibilities included budgeting/forecasting, long range financial and capital planning, services pricing, evaluating funding sources and general strategy/operations work to help in growing the new venture.

Corporate/Business Development: June 2011 - January 2012
 - Worked on various external facing business development and partnership opportunities for Best Buy including due diligence and valuation of partnerships, joint ventures & M&A opportunities.
- Worked on various internal consulting engagements across the entire enterprise. Typical engagements include general strategy, new business valuation and research, and cost savings projects.

Corporate/Business Development

- Constructed user friendly financial risk model driven by Bloomberg for Best Buy to track its vendors credit risk. The model was used across the enterprise to help business managers better understand credit/business risks associated with partnering with vendors.
- Constructed financial risk model to track Best Buys banking partners which was included in Best Buy's treasury reporting.

MBA Intern - Treasury

- Provided support in sell-side, buy-side and private placement transactions.
- Main duties included general company and industry research, financial analysis, financial modeling (DCF, LBO, accretion/dilution), and transaction management.
- Worked on projects in various industries including; information technology, energy, education technology, software and transportation.
- Worked on 12 closed deals including; 5 sell side transactions, 5 buy-side transaction, 1 private placement of equity and 1 fairness opinion.
