Ted Roberts

Ted Roberts has over 25 years of experience in managing perimeter email environments for clients of major tech companies like EDS and HP/HPE. His expertise lies in SMTP email systems and related functions like DNS and TCP/IP networking. At EDS and HP/HPE, he led a team handling perimeter email systems and various technologies like sendmail, Trend Microsystems, Symantec MessageLabs, and in-house email filtering services. Starting in 2016, Ted has been serving as a consultant at Proofpoint Inc, focusing on deploying email and security systems for more than 200 clients. He specializes in implementing solutions for large-scale and intricate projects, often dealing with over 100K users. Ted's educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Texas Tech University. Currently, he holds the position of Senior Professional Services Consultant at Proofpoint and previously worked as a Consulting Architect at Hewlett Packard Enterprise.
