    Ted King is a former professional cyclist who discovered his passion for cycling during his time at Middlebury College in VT. He transitioned from being a top-ranked American cyclist on the US domestic circuit to competing in prestigious races like the Giro d’Italia and Tour de France as a World Tour pro, providing support to cycling legends such as Basso, Nibali, and Peter Sagan.

    Following a successful decade-long professional racing career, Ted retired from Cannondale-Garmin in 2015. He has since evolved into a Professional Rider and collaborates with renowned brands such as Cannondale, SRAM, Zipp, InGamba, Velocio, and Roka. Ted leads cycling camps, organizes events, offers consulting services, and hosts the popular 'King of the Ride' podcast.

    While Ted now focuses on adventure and gravel racing, his competitive drive remains evident, with notable victories like being a two-time champion of the Dirty Kanza Gravel race. Alongside his athletic pursuits, Ted is involved in running UnTapped Maple Sports Nutrition, a company he co-founded in 2014.

    Ted King's educational background includes attending Exeter High School and obtaining a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Mathematics from Middlebury College.

    Throughout his career, Ted has held key positions in various organizations, including serving as the Co-Owner & Chief Maple Syrup Proselytizer at UnTapped, Chief Bicycling Operator at Cannondale-Garmin Pro Cycling Team, and Athlete - Cyclist at USA Cycling, among others.
