HR Product Owner, Culture of Belonging

- I strategized for all national partnership and conferences. I ran point for all logistics and communicated with 15 national organizations at a time.• I organized diversity and early engagement events for up to 100 college students at a time in various geographic locations throughout the United States. This included communicating and inviting candidates, securing an event space, catering options and staffing our associates to be in attendance. I also executed our full-day schedules.• I planned and executed multiple week-long programs for 30-40 college students from around the country to travel to one of our offices and become immersed in our culture. This included communicating with senior leadership to be involved through presentations, workshops, panels, etc. I also worked with Capital One associates to confirm their involvement as mentors. I managed the schedule from the time they arrived on Sunday, to their departure on Friday afternoon. This involved catering for each meal, multiple fun events, transportation and their travel itineraries. • I pulled data for 4-5 programs at a time, this included hundreds of student applications per program. I communicated with each program lead, and reached out to students about each step in their application process. Additionally, I scheduled all interviews with our Capital One associates and semi-finalist students.CULTURE OF BELONGING: • Working alongside senior leaders within Capital One HR to increase our culture of belonging. Specifically creating and running a Mentor-a-Leader program.• Performing in an agile-setting by participating in PI planning and backlog refinement, collaborating with teammates and multi-tasking to create and execute on multiple stories during a sprint.• Conduct empathy interviews with Capital One associates across level to build rapport and serve as initial data point to measure success of program.

Principal Campus Recruiting Coordinator, Diversity & Early Engagement Events

- I assisted in the development and execution of the campus recruiting strategy, including identifying creative approaches to campus recruiting, as well as participating in the candidate selection and relationship building process•	I supported multiple full-cycle recruiting processes of 4-5 recruiters, who may have had 10-20 open requisitions with 100+ candidates who have applied. I evaluated and screened dozens of candidates’ resumes at a time, communicated with candidates throughout their entire application process, generated offer letters and completed decline calls•	I prioritized tasks to ensure that the needs of our business clients and candidates were met. This meant being comfortable working alongside multiple Executive associates•	I acted as a liaison to hotels to order and send candidates who were interviewing at our People Centers gifts before their interview day. I also researched and ordered candidate gifts after they completed their summer internships•	I reached out to candidates who applied for multiple analyst roles that needed to complete assessments. I sent and received multiple challenges and assessments, scheduled their work to be reviewed by Senior Manager+ associates and updated a candidate tracker to communicate with recruiters and hiring managers to stay up-to-date on this process• I worked with our accounting and external teams to organize and process candidate information in order for them to receive their commitment checks and sign-on bonuses.

Campus Recruiting Coordinator

- I corresponded with all parties partaking in a power day (recruiters, hiring managers, schedulers, candidates, etc.) to ensure the interview process runs smoothly from arrival, to dismissal, of candidates. This meant creating and maintaining great relationships with administrative assistants, senior managers and recruiters to quickly, and effectively, problem solve during an interview day•	I acted as a reference point for 10-35 candidates while they are on campus per day, and provided exceptional customer service •	I composed various materials, reports and files for consensus meetings where recruiters, hiring managers and interviewers would come post-interview day to discuss next steps with candidates• I acted as a reference point for candidates while they are on campus, and provide exceptional customer service

Interviewer Logistics Coordinator, Professional Analyst Facilitator

- I effectively communicated with 40-50 Customers daily and addressed complaints, resolved inquiries and provided opportunities for improvement that was a win for both Customer and Southwest through inbound phone calls, emails and letters• I reviewed documentation submitted by Customers and created and processed claims for various types of ticket refunds• I acted as a mentor to new hires during their “day in the field,” and assisted them during training activities

- Working with Hayden's Hope on their mission and increasing awareness throughout the community.•	Responsible for interacting with local nonprofits with a similar mission (children's health) and forming connections. •	Brainstorming ways to engage our student body in the cause, as well as increasing blood donors on campus.

- I was responsible for opening and closing the restaurant. During football season or campus events, this would mean working 15+ hour days and delegating tasks to ensure the restaurant and kitchen stayed stocked and organized. • I trained new servers and hostesses and built lasting relationships so they were comfortable asking for help in the future. When I was the shift lead, I was responsible for overseeing not only my tables and reservations, but others', as well.• I coordinated with various on-campus groups, clubs, fraternities and sororities to help plan and execute their events. • I was responsible for waiting on large reservations, catering events and parties, as well as walk-in guests.
