Taylor Francis

Taylor Francis is the Co-Founder of Watershed, a software platform designed to assist businesses in achieving net-zero carbon emissions more efficiently. His work focuses on simplifying corporate carbon accounting and enabling companies to integrate carbon impact into their daily operations. Watershed has gained traction among notable clients, including Airbnb, FedEx, and Visa, as it provides tools for measuring and acting on carbon emissions.12

Before co-founding Watershed in September 2019, Taylor was involved with The Climate Reality Project as an early organizer and later worked at Stripe, where he contributed to the Atlas project, a toolkit aimed at helping startups. He has a background in public policy, having graduated from Princeton University.124

Taylor is based in San Francisco and is passionate about outdoor activities such as biking and skiing. His commitment to climate action was notably influenced by Al Gore's documentary "An Inconvenient Truth," which he saw at a young age, prompting him to pursue a career focused on environmental sustainability.13
