Dr. Tavis Forrester is a highly accomplished predator-prey ecologist with a passion for wildlife conservation. He has a Doctor of Philosophy in Ecology from the University of California, Davis, and a Bachelor's degree in Wildlife Biology from Oregon State University. With years of cutting-edge quantitative methods and rigorous field research, Dr. Forrester has gained extensive expertise in how predation, movement, and behavior affect wildlife populations, working to combine ecological theory and natural history to contribute to applied conservation.
He is currently a Research Wildlife Biologist at the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife and has previously worked as a conservation biologist at the Smithsonian Institution. Dr. Forrester's contributions to the field are not limited to his academia, as he champions the use of citizen science to conduct landscape-scale wildlife research.
