Tatum Allsep is the Founder and CEO of Music Health Alliance (MHA), a non-profit organization dedicated to providing healthcare solutions for music industry professionals. Established in 2013, MHA has significantly impacted the lives of over 18,000 individuals, saving more than $84 million in healthcare costs.13 Allsep's initiative focuses on removing barriers to healthcare access, which has earned her national recognition, including being named one of Billboard’s Top 100 Power Players and receiving the CMA Humanitarian of the Year award for her COVID relief efforts.13
Before founding MHA, Allsep worked for six years at MCA Records and as an artist manager. She also played a pivotal role in launching the Music Industry Relations Department at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where she developed various impactful programs.13 Her educational background includes studying Human and Organizational Development at Vanderbilt University, which she credits as a valuable asset in her career.3
Allsep has received numerous accolades for her contributions to healthcare and the music industry, such as the Nashville Healthcare Hero award and recognition from the Nashville Business Journal as a Women in Music City honoree.23 She actively participates on several boards and committees, including those for Vanderbilt University's Peabody College Alumni Board and Musicians on Call.1
