Tatjana Paterno

Tatjana Paterno is an accomplished attorney with a strong background in representing public and private companies in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) transactions and securities transactions.

With a focus on efficiency and practical solutions, Tatjana has facilitated M&A deals exceeding $17 billion and securities transactions surpassing $2.5 billion, catering to various industries including healthcare, wellness, information technology, manufacturing, and senior living.

In addition to M&A and securities, Tatjana advises clients on disclosure, executive compensation, governance issues, and manages challenges from activist shareholders and shareholder proposals.

Tatjana's educational journey includes studying at prestigious institutions like the University of Tartu and achieving a summa cum laude J.D. from the Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law as well as a B.A. in History from The University of Texas at Dallas.

Currently a Partner/Member at Bass, Berry & Sims, Tatjana Paterno previously worked at Jones Day as an Associate and gained experience as a Summer Intern at the U.S. District Court, Northern District of Texas.
