Tash Courtenay-Smith is a successful entrepreneur and co-founder and CEO of Bolt Digital, an agency specializing in D2C growth for UK Shopify brands. As an experienced founder and investor, she is passionate about supporting and training small business owners on how to use digital platforms for business growth. Tash is also a best-selling author of two books: The Million Dollar Blog and Stand Out Online.
Before starting her own business, Tash spent ten years as a national newspaper and women's magazine journalist and held senior positions such as Health Editor and Senior Features Writer at Daily Mail and Health Editor at Shine magazine. In 2007, she founded her own online press agency, Talk to the Press, which was eventually acquired by the UK's largest media group in 2014.
In addition to her current role at Bolt Digital, Tash is an active mentor and founder of BizKids, an online learning platform that teaches primary school children about entrepreneurship. She is also a seed investor in Triple Whale and Chamberlain Coffee.
Tash's expertise lies in D2C growth, paid advertising channels, creative production, and financial modeling. She is also an ambassador for Meta's She Means Business program, where she has trained 20,000 founders and SME owners per year on how to use Facebook and Instagram for business.
