Tariq Sheikh

Tariq Sheikh is the founder and CEO of Postpay, a Dubai-based fintech company that offers a "buy now, pay later" (BNPL) service, allowing consumers to make purchases in installments without incurring interest or fees. Postpay was launched in 2019, with the product officially introduced in 2020, positioning itself as a key player in the competitive BNPL market in the MENA region.23

Tariq Sheikh holds an MBA with distinction from ESADE Business & Law School and the Graduate School of Business at the University of Cape Town. He also earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a focus on marketing and international trade from the University of South Africa. Prior to founding Postpay, he worked as a seed consultant at the Stanford Institute for Innovation in Developing Economies and held various roles, including head of strategic acquisitions at Invest East Africa and management consultant at Kearney.2
