Tariq Azam
Cardiovascular Medicine Fellow at the University of Michigan
Tariq Azam is a dedicated Cardiovascular Medicine Fellow with a strong background in clinical practice, management, and education. His professional interests lie in Cardio-Oncology research, disparities in medicine, and promoting diversity within the medical workforce and trainees. Tariq completed his M.D. in Medicine at The Ohio State University College of Medicine and holds a B.S. in Molecular and Cellular Biology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He currently serves as a Cardiovascular Medicine Fellow at the University of Michigan and previously held roles such as Chief Resident of Internal Medicine at Mayo Clinic.
