Tariq holds a Master's degree in Nuclear Engineering with top honors from Texas A&M University, along with a Bachelor of Science in Nuclear Engineering with highest distinctions.

He has an extensive professional background, having worked in various key positions such as Head of Technology Deployment at the Ministry of Industry & Advanced Technology, Advisory Board Member at the Big Data Analytics Centre (BIDAC) at UAEU, Senior Project Manager at the Prime Minister's Office in the UAE, Senior Safety Analysis Engineer at Emirates, Visiting Scholar at TerraPower LLC, Reload Design Apprentice at KEPCO Nuclear Fuel Company, Safety Analysis Engineer at Emirates, and Postgraduate Researcher at Emirates.
