Tara Suan

Tara Suan is a seasoned Senior UX Research Lead at Microsoft, currently focused on steering the UX research strategy and direction for Copilot in M365 and Viva Employee Experience platform. With a background in global marketing leadership, Tara excels in crafting user-centered experiences that drive user behavior and business growth by understanding user needs and pain-points. She has a wealth of experience in managing high-performing teams in varying settings and has a strong skill set in research methodologies including user surveys, usability studies, remote user testing, and more. Tara holds a Master's degree in Human Computer Interaction and Design from UC Irvine, complemented by a BA in History from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Data Science Bootcamp certification from General Assembly. Her career spans across multiple roles at Microsoft, as well as stints in freelance, consulting, and marketing positions at companies like SOLS, Duolingo, and Flickr.
