Tara Graham is a seasoned professional with a diverse background in digital media, education technology, and business development. With a degree in Rhetoric and Public Policy from the University of California, Berkeley, and an Online Journalism MA from the University of Southern California, Graham honed her skills in digital media, focusing on experimentation and innovation in higher education. Her passion for education led her to collaborate with a group of global poverty scholars at UC Berkeley to produce a mixed-media learning initiative that attracted funding, a book deal, and millions of views on YouTube. She also taught and developed the curricula for 10+ media and online production courses for undergraduate students.

Graham has an impressive track record when it comes to business development and community engagement. She has held several leadership positions at Course Hero, a Silicon Valley education technology company and one of the most active venture capital firms and startup accelerators in the world, managing multi-million dollar budgets, building strategic partnerships, and leading cross-functional teams of product managers, engineers, designers, marketers, community managers, partnership managers, brand strategists, data scientists, user researchers, event organizers, journalists, film crews, academics, and learners.

Prior to Course Hero, Graham was the Director of Business Development & Global Programs at 500 Startups, where she led global programming, and corporate partnerships. She was responsible for developing and managing the curriculum, recruiting and managing mentors and startups, and leading international teams. Her extensive experience in journalism includes working as a Carnegie-Knight News21 Fellow at News21, Web Reporter at KCET's "SoCal Connected," Online Front Page Editor at New Statesman, Founding Associate Editor at POPSUGAR, and Staff Writer at Pop+Politics.
